    Synopsis
    In Zoo Animals we peep behind the bars of the cage. On our expedition through the zoo, we accompany an animal doctor and animal keeper during their work. Thereby we get an insight which the everyday visitor does not experience. How are animals fed? Does the keeper have special relationship to his friend? What must be observed concerning the construction of the enclosure so that the animals in the zoo feel comfortable? We also find out how a zoo protects animals’ species and are present during the birth of a baby elephant.
