Synopsis
Sean O'€™Casey - Under A Coloured Cap explores the life and work of the great Irish playwright Sean O'€™Casey. Born in 1880, O'€™Casey lived through troubled and turbulent times in Ireland and wrote three plays, Shadow of a Gunman, Juno and the Paycock and The Plough and the Stars, which now stand with the great plays of the twentieth century. Told by his daughter Shivaun O'€™Casey, O'€™Casey is revealed as a diverse and innovative artist, ahead of his time in his vision of what drama should be.
