Synopsis
A colourful portrait of the man who declares that he is the human incarnation of the Hindu deities Siva and Sakti, Christ returned, the Maitreya of Buddhism and the Messiah for the Jews. Millions of devotees and pilgrims approach Sai Baba annually in the small Indian town of Puttaparthi.
Once
asked if he was God, Sai Baba replied "Let us say I am the switch; in one instant I could make the universe disappear". The film´s innocent scepticism gradually encounters darker and more disturbing aspects of his power that will have sharp resonance for Irish audiences.
