John Ffrench is one of Ireland´s foremost ceramicists who broke new ground in the 1950´s with his experimental style and vivid colours. To this day Ffrench´s superb decorative ability and originality continues. This biographical documentary explores the background and childhood of this dedicated craftsman from an ancient Irish family, and contains examples of his ceramics from public and private collections.
