    Synopsis
    Every summer a small city on the edge of the Artic Circle hosts the Air Guitar World Championships.It is a fiercely competitive contest in wich heavy metal freaks like Jeremy The Lobster Furniss and Markus Black Raven Vainionpaa are pitted against each other in a bizarrz festival of fakery. Hot air aims to do for air guitar what Spinal tap did for heavy metal. It is a story of deadly rivalry, national pride and the very strange things that beer and rock music do to grown men.
