Synopsis
Last summer, they were on tour in Europe. In Ghent, Belgium, they gave three concerts for a full and super-enthusiastic house. Young at Heart is a choir from Massachusetts, USA. The average age of the singers is 80 ! Their repertoire ? Not golden oldies but today´s hits : Talking Heads, Led Zeppelin, rap, rock, etc. The crew filmed the choir on its tour of Belgium, and six weeks later, in America. The report is laced with well-known Rolling Stones songs. Both Eileen and Ralph are practising a Stones songs for the big festival, and even Lyl, the oldest choir member at 93, is doing her best to get to grips with “You can´t always get what you want”. We follow Ralph, Eileen and the others as they rehearse. We see how they grow more nervous, keep on rehearsing, and finally bring the entire festival crowd to their feet. And you too! That´s a promise!
