Synopsis
In 1955, all hell broke loose on the streets of Montreal when hockey fans rioted over the suspension of their star player, Maurice "The Rocket" Richard. Today, the riot is framed as a protest against perceived persecution by the English "bosses" of the greatest living symbol of French-Canadian pride, "Rocket" Richard. Archival footage interwoven with dramatic re-enactment and interviews with key hockey figures relate the events leading up to this pivotal riot and its aftermath.
