    Synopsis
    In 2000, scientists from Goettingen announce an amazing breakthrough in the field of cancer research. More than 400 patients subsequently receive this new treatment. Shortly thereafter, it becomes clear that the basic research is seriously flawed and the therapy is useless. But there are no other consequences aside from the sacrifice of a pawn. This feature x-rays the structures underlying scientific proceedings that are prone to scandals of this sort.
