The ZDF documentary series "C14" reports on exciting archeological digs and research projects in Germany. In three to five separate pieces in each episode, C14 visits various places where scientists are currently working on deciphering newly discovered messages from the past using state-of-the-art methods. The title - C 14 - comes from nuclear physics. The C14 method allows the dating of organic substances to up to 50,000 years ago.
